Caitlin Clark and Wilson Product Line (Drop 2)
Alongside Caitlin, I helped design this line for her based on what she was looking for. Like Caitlin’s other products, there is so much to unpack in each product. Handfuls of hidden meanings and messages for the athlete taking this ball wherever they go.
Embrace: Reflective of all the “noise” Caitlin faces on and off the court. The pattern within the Wilson script and Evo NXT is created from actual sound data from Caitlin’s games. Measuring the types of sound and displaying it on the ball tells the story of the way Caitlin embraces pressure and allows it to fuel her play. All of this comes to life in a pastel color palette hand-picked by Caitlin.
Aspire: A UV basketball that, when hit with sunlight, changes color to reveal some of Caitlin’s inspirational messages and quotes, such as “dream big, keep going” and “you’re going to be amazing because you are amazing.” The deep red accents are inspired by Caitlin’s WNBA team.
Oasis: This design follows the template defined by the Official WNBA Basketball. White panels alternate with an original pattern I created showing Caitlin’s happy places where she takes time to re-center. The pattern is inspired by aerial views of golf course fairways in Iowa and peaceful lake waves, combined with some calming colors Caitlin favored.
Envision: An Outdoor basketball meant to inspire young athletes with its intricate yet subtle pattern that reads “DREAM BIG” in one of Caitlin’s favorite shades of blue. Identifying the text within the labyrinth pattern symbolizes to stay focused on your goals, even when obstacles may be in your path.

Caitlin Clark’s Rookie of the Year Wilson Basketball
Caitlin Clark won the WNBA Rookie of the Year in 2024, and I was fortunate enough to design this commemorative Wilson basketball with Kiwi Gadbaw. Kiwi provided the illustrations of Caitlin while I created the remainder of the artwork for this product.

I created a template in a Size 6 and Mini version for the WNBA Player basketballs according to WNBA standards.

Caitlin Clark’s The University of Iowa Jersey Retirement Basketball
Caitlin Clark’s number was retired at The University of Iowa on February 2, 2025, and I designed and concepted this basketball for the ceremony and for a limited edition sell. I knew this was going to be a special moment for Caitlin, so I wanted to ensure it looked special by incorporating embroidery as a nod to jersey threads. It includes all of her achievements, and special details like the Iowa state outline and “To the Rafters” on the inflation area.

Caitlin Clark and Wilson Limitless Series (Drop 1)
Designed and concepted Caitlin Clark’s first ever basketball product line with Wilson. There are so many nods to Caitlin’s past to showcase her impressive journey, like 22’s in the shape of (3-point) triangles, a letter she wrote to her younger self, her extensive shooting range, and her jersey colors to honor her past. Hand-drawn laser templates for the gold and white WNBA basketballs.

2024 Paris Olympics - Official 3x3 Basketball
I created 3x3 Basketball’s official ball design for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. The carousel above details how I went about creating this idea of a ‘medallion’ for the ball. Since there are so many exciting things about Paris, I incorporated a lot of Paris elements into this shape because I couldn’t decide on one piece. The shape is ultimately a tribute to Paris’ resiliency of the fires to Notre Dame, which was supposed to be restored before the Games.

2023 Men’s & Women’s Final Four Limited Edition Basketballs
The task was to create a limited edition basketball for the men’s and women’s Final Four tournaments in Houston and Dallas.
For Houston’s Final Four - I was inspired by patches on astronauts’ spacesuits at the Houston Space Center. I created custom basketball-space-Houston patches and tiled them all over. Every patch has some nod to Houston, basketball, or the Final Four. There are even some Beyonce references for her hometown!
For Dallas’ Final Four - this was a similar approach, but tailored the patches to vintage Texas and the Bishop Arts neighborhood in Dallas.
Lastly, real patches were actually created and included in the product box with purchase. They were also sold at Wilson’s activation spaces in Houston and Dallas for the Final Four tournaments.

Wilson Maker Series Basketball
This basketball was designed in an “anti-design” aesthetic for Wilson’s new Maker Series line - an assortment featuring original designs from Wilson designers with no guardrails. My goal was to create a tribute to the game of basketball’s history all centered around the game’s original 13 rules. There is a ton of information packed in, but you’ll find some symbols and shout-outs to those women and men who helped create the game. This ball serves as a memento of the roots that have helped the game grow to its current glory.

2023 NBA All-Star Limited Edition Collector Basketball
This basketball was sold as a limited edition Collector ball at the 2023 NBA All-Star weekend in Salt Lake City, Utah. Inspired by the snow and salt elements that make up the land in Salt Lake City, this design celebrates these molecules that have created this urban landscape for All-Star athletes to showcase their talent. Drawn to the elements, I illustrated salt and snow while looking under a microscope to form a pattern. A few details include my made-up periodic table of elements housed in the outline of Utah on the side of the ball, paying tribute to the land elements of Salt Lake City. There is also a nod to the Wasatch mountain range in the inflate area. Lastly, the super talented Andrea Bergart converted this ball into a luxury handbag!

Wilson WNBA Heir Basketball
The identity for this outdoor basketball was to be something bright, bold, and unexpected for the women’s game. I created this design in this unique paneling structure utilizing some WNBA brand colors and directions from the WNBA style guide.

Wilson x WNBA 25th Anniversary Basketball
I designed a limited-edition, 25th Anniversary Wilson basketball and box packaging celebrating the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Utilizing all of the team’s colors and WNBA league logos, this basketball was gifted to all members of this year’s Commissioner’s Cup championship team and 25 influential women in and around the sport. As an athlete herself, I was honored to design a bright product for an extremely vibrant league - a league which speaks up for women's and non-binary rights and paves the way for the world to see more of women's sports.
